Dr Elisa Palazzo is an Urban Landscape Architect with ample academic and professional experience. She has designed and leads multiple studio projects with a high level of public engagement with successive studio deliveries following a scaffolded methodology. Formerly a part of The University of Adelaide, Elisa was the leader of the Urban Ecosystem‐Design Lab, http://www.urbanecodesignlab.org/ a vehicle which brings together industry, local community, and student expertise to design, build and monitor small‐scale urban interventions and landscape projects. Now, at University of New South Wales, Elisa brings her experience and expertise to continue enhancing the ability of landscape architecture to contribute to creating thriving environments. She is particularly interested in exploring topics of climate resilience and water sensitive design in urban and peri-urban landscapes.
